Day 1: Today i was showed everything there was and the rules and how to take care of the kids. I worked the weight machine and the height. When the kids would leave i would go with them to make sure they would be okay. I was also showed how to work the hearing machine, and take blood pressure.i worked all the way to the time i had to leave today was a good day and i had fun.
Day 2: Today i learned how to test kids eyes i weighed them looked at their height i tested about 5 kids is was cool and fun and it was fun to help Mrs. Ford.
Day 3: Today Mrs. Ford wasn't there she was on vacation and wasn't going to be until Monday. I just learned how to take temperature an made ice packs. Other then that it was a slow day.
Day 6: The next day i went and it was quiet and its never quiet so i sat down just waiting for kids to come in. finally a hole bunch of kids came and i help ms. Ford with them. i felt needed and was happy to help.
Day 7: When i came back ms. Ford was working hard and she told me there is screening today and needed my help. I learned how to check for breathing and got to use my own stethoscope and i felt like i was a nurse.After that i filed papers.
Day 8: The next day i came back i learned how to check blood presser and it was cool. I struggled at first because i was doing it too fast. So ms.ford helped me through it and showed me the right way how to do it.
Day 9: Day 9 was okay there wasn't much to do there was no screening there was just paper and all the kids had minor problems. There was nothing huge going.
Day 10: Yesterday i filed papers all day Because we didn't go all last week There was a huge stack of papers there and when kids came in and if i could i would help them and see what was wrong.
Day 12: When i came back to my field experiment i was happy. i walked in and ms. Ford said we get to open presents. i love presents so will i was there we were opening them the whole time.

ReplyDeleteRemember to be more reflective. Think about the layout of the room, the procedures, the way situations are handled, and the reactions of the adults.
